I was trying to encode a video using the constant bit rate, I was wondering what is the recommended minimum duration of video or minimum no of frames to be kept for enabling the constant bit operation.

Dirac encoder maintains an internal queue of the pictures. It needs atleast max(4, 2*L1_sep) pictures in the queue to do constant bit rate coding.
