I'm using svn4637, the layout for English and Chinese were so different, and there's no option to switch to other language once I'm in Chinese.
only english is supported im afraid, the other languages are provided by third parties and are never in line with the latest version of desmume.
to return to english, open up desmume.ini and set Language=0
