I was able to connect to my company's Exchange 2013 using Thunderbird+latest Davmail (on Windows 7) until this weekend. Since that date, I'm not able to get in (I am being asked a password by TB while the password has not changed).
One thing that may be related though, is that I get the following message when I try to log in using the OWA website at the same moment: SDServerErr;Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.TooManyObjectsOpenedException
This was not the case before.
I think something must have changed on the server side, but as its not an official way of accessing mails I can't ask the system admin.
Is there anything I can do on my side to solve the problem?

    I am having the same problem. See my detailed reporting with logs here: https://sourceforge.net/p/davmail/discussion/644056/thread/9d5ad43c/#b2a2 I am not sure if this is a bug, but the guy who responded to me said that it happens only with OWA, Evolution is still working fine, and same symptoms as you (TB asking for password).

    This is a server side issue. Somehow you opened too many concurrent sessions to the server. I guess they will eventually timeout and you should be able to login again.
