I'm using Icedove (Thunderbird) and DavMail to access my Exchange mailbox.
I've recently discovered that Outlook categories work, but I found that
there is a problem.
When a category has spaces in it, e.g. "This Test", then it is not
mapped to a similarily named tag in Thunderbird, it doesnt show up.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks & Regards,

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Sure, you will need to map Outlook category to a valid IMAP flag, just add the following line to .davmail.properties:
davmail.imapFlags.some_test_flag=Some test Category
Works perfectly! I've added one davmail property for each tag/category and now they are mapped correctly:
- upper/lowercase is reflected correctly
- tags with spaces and symbols are behaving well, e.g. tags with dashes and dots
Thanks,

You can also use a custom label for your flag, see
