Hi guys,
This is a simple screen lock (like the lock screen or a password protected screen saver) except it only hides one screen (you can choose from primary or secondary).
It stores the settings in a settings file in your "AppData\Local\Darryl's Screen Lock" folder including:
If you find any issues, please use the tickets link here on SourceForge - it'll email me apparently.
Please don't rely on this to secure a PC - you can get around it with Task Manager and killing the process - so if you happen to know the keyboard shortcut (<ctrl>+<shift>+<esc>) and the process name (ScreenLock.exe) you can get around it. Of course, most drunk people at parties don't know that it's not that secure and assume there's no easy way around the lock screen.</esc></shift></ctrl>
If you forget the password, just delete the c:\Users\<user name="">\AppData\Local\Darryl's Screen Lock\ScreenLock.settings file and you can set it again.</user>
Version 1.0.1 released today - the black window that locks the screen now positions correctly to the bounds of the primary or secondary display (I was setting Bounds on the form before I called Show() which then goes and moves it to the default location).
