#461 address bar functionality

I often have to access large repositories (many layers of sub-directories), having an address bar type feature to type in (and copy & paste) into would be very helpful in switching directories which have similar names without having to navigate back out to the top then back in.
It could be similar to the address bar in Firefox, which includes a drop down for recently visited locations.
