Virtualdub has a nice feature called "Append AVI", creating one AVI file from several. If you could implement this from the Virtualdub code, it would be a nice solution for all those time-shifted recordings. Concerning the cutlist file format: they could simply go beyond the actual first avi's filelength assuming that the correct further avi(s) is/are appended.

This feature is on the wish list. I am thinking about extending the cutlist format, so you can generate "linked" cutlists. Using these, CA could create script files for these recordings.
Please note that definition of cuts has to be done separatly for every file.
