IMHO it would be great to be able to access a SVN repository via ftpfs. Has anybody tried that yet?
I can create a repository in an ftpfs mounted directory, but any subsequent "svn import file:///ftpfs-path/to/repository" hangs forever. In fact it hangs so well that not even a "kill -KILL pid" kills the process.
Any hints? Is the idea completely stupid? (If not, I'll ask the subversion folks as well).
