Salud ! Ok, you know this trouble with "Gnome-download"... So, I have the Gnome about 2.xxx, "cronosII-0.3.0pre9.tar.gz" and I have the "Gnome-download" from old version which I got at the some site. What should I do to install Cronos?.. How I should name the gnome-download script and where I should plase it?.. Can I install cronos?.. Answer ASAP. Thanks. Sorry for broken English. -- С уважением, Alexey. mailto: bes...@bk... Чтв Дек 23 21:07:13 MSK 2004 |

If you have a hassle finding the thing I should be able to send you one from here. Hi. Tell me, what's the output of running: glib-config --cflags If the command is not found you should install the devel package of glib, which is the one which brings glib-config, header definitions and more stuff. hi- just joined the list. maybe I'm just not ready, but, I always have the same problem when I try to config programs that use glib: the configure script can't find it on my system. well, maybe it's not there; but, I've done everything that I know to make it happen - I just re-installed it using YaST2, from SuSE 7.3. This installation completes successfully, but it doesn't alter my path (which is one of the 'fix' messages that the failed cornosII configure script mentions). I'd love to set an env variable to the path for glib-config, but I can't find it either -- regards, kam-mode::= http://medianox.net My boyfriend calls me 'princess', but I think of myself more along the lines of 'monkey' and 'retard'. Don't know how you have gone with this, but I had a similar problem which I resolved by hand linking glade/ to the latest set of glade libraries. (under /usr/include). I believe this is all because there are new glade libs being built for Gnome2. It should be possible to do the equivalent by adding / changing the flags in the Makefile ... Can supply more dtails if needed but just look in usr/include and it should all make sense. _If this is NOT a sensible solution_ I would like to hear a better one ... :) -- <pet...@us...> <go...@ar...> Your Fortune Cookie says: When you live in a sick society, just about everything you do is wrong. Hello, I'm sending you this mail to let you know that new versions of Cronos II have been released this morning. Both branches of Cronos II have new version. The regular old Cronos II (the stable branch) has the new version Eclipse2 (0.2.2.23), which has some important bug fixes and which introduces the NOHTML plugin written by Daniel Fairhead, which will enable Cronos II to correctly display HTML based messages. The brand new Cronos II (the scratch branch) has a new preview version (0.3.0-pre2) of what is going to be Mariana (0.3). This version has serious bugfixes, upgrading is highly recommended, although you should know that this version is still alpha software. You can find more information and download the software from http://www.cronosII.org/ Best Regards, Pablo Fernández. - Cronos II Hacker - |

If you are find you are not subscribed to the lists you should, please, subscribe your self to the lists you want. You can easily do this through the mailman interface on the web of Cronos II at http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=7093 Best Regards for everyone, Pablo. |

Cronos II is changing its structure, accompanying this changes, the mailing lists are changing too. This are the changes that the mailing lists will suffer: o Cronos II Developers is obsoleted by Cronos II Hackers The new list Cronos II Hackers will discuss the same things as the old Cronos II Developers did, that is, Development of Cronos II. o New list Cronos II Announce The new list Cronos II Announce is the list where important announcements about Cronos II (mostly new releases) will be reported. This is a low traffic list, thus why is recommended that everyone subscribes to it. o New list Cronos II Security The new list Cronos II Security is the list where important announcements about Cronos II related to security issues will be reported. This is (hopelly) a low traffic list, since we don't have many bugs (at least reported) that concern security due to the great development that has been taken and the security that itself most unix's has thanks to the modularizated structure they count with. Is higgly recommended that everyone subscribes to this list. Eveyone that was subscribed in the Cronos II Developers List is already subscribed to the Cronos II Hackers List, Cronos II Security List and Cronos II Announce List. Everyone that was subscribed to the Cronos II Users List is already subscribed to the Cronos II Security List and Cronos II Announce List. Note that this changes might not take place until 2001/09/25 0:00 GMT. Thanks all, Pablo Fernández Navarro. |
