#2 cramfs file system size limit

Now that I'm logged in, I'll try this again. I am
wondering why mkcramfs limits the size of the cramfs
file system to 272MB? Can this be expanded to 512MB and
if so, can you provide some direction on how this could
be done or point me to some documentation resources
that will help me do so?

We have a project that is using this and we need to be
able to store 512MB on it and no one realized there was
a 272MB limit to the file system size.
