Implementing the ability to zoom in/out on just one axis
Would make viewing the sine graph in degrees 0 - 360 a lot easier as at the moment when zoomed in to get 1 and - 1 on y axis, you cannot see up to 360 for example
This feature has been suggested also by other users. It sounds like a good idea and also it's easy to implement.
I am planning to use this type of Zoom operation when the user is right clicking. In this zoom mode horizontal mouse cursor movement controls zooming along the x-axis and vertical mouse cursor movement controls zooming along the y-axis.
On the other hand this might be confusing for users, who prefer to zoom either along the x-axis or along the y-axis. For these users it might be better to use the Shift Key to select either x- or y-axis for zooming.
