I think the problem in file access policy. Could you please try to start application as "Administrator" and ensure permissions for modify the files. File(Folder) -> Properties -> Securety tab.

I like Cover Retriever but I have a probleme (crash) when I check Embed in the file box.

I don't see another issue. Except that some program blocks the file. In fact, I have successful processed both files.
