OSX 10.4.2 with security-patch v008

i can use cotvnc to connect windows-xp (tight-vnc), but
cannot use it to connect the linux (suse).

i can connect to the linux (suse) from windows-xp (tight-
vnc)

so i am pretty sure my linux box is setup correctly.

when i tried to connect to linux, it looks liked it gets
connected, but nothing comes up.

The same problem here. You have to update the default
    vnc-package from SuSE 9.1.

Go to www.realvnc.com, download the old version (4.0, RedHat
7.3 rpm), because the newest isn't free anymore. But that
    doesn't matter.
Install it as root (rpm -U vnc-xxxx.rpm)

    enjoy it.

I had this problem as well, but only with 2.0b3. beta2 continued to connect just
    fine.

Whatever the problem was, it has been fixed in SuSE 10.0. CotVNC 2.0b3
    connects just fine now.

Sounds like a SUSE problem. Closing in 10 days unless someone posts
    otherwise.
