TITLE: topic pointer resetting
There still seems to be a problem with topic pointers being reset.
I added processors/bit_bucket, and /other_cpus (dumpin ground for
everything so far) got reset.
It told me I had 28 new messages (all of them in the topic) but reading the
last one (only one presented) cleared them all.
