Code Redesign

Work has been slow as we've been looking at how to best restructure the frontend to make using COSIGN a transparent process whether you use the static XML files or the newer MySQL interface... and to be honest, we don't have a clean answer yet. The work indicates that we'll need to do a code cleanup before adding new features; we may fork the development tree for the time being to support the new implementation as we work on it. Check back soon!

Deck Editing

Decks may now be built using the "Development Tools" section of COSIGN. The decks are saved to the default location (/res/decks) in the standard XML format. Default collections may also be used and automatically imported. The parser for the configuration file has been updated to support this. Full deck and collection importing and exporting should be available tomorrow. The code to import is done but hasn't been tied into the data containers yet, so while COSIGN reads everything in it doesn't populate anything.

COSIGN Opens "Unit 571"

To make things easier for everyone, we have now opened up a support website for COSIGN. All official software releases will still be handled via SourceForge, but content like our set data files and images will now be made available through our new website, Unit 571. We're still bringing it online, but feel free to stop by and let us know where we should focus our efforts.
