#349 can't embed conky into desktop

i want to embed conky into desktop, but it can not satisfy me. i tried own_window_type as desktop and normal dock and override and panel for many times, all of them can not work to arrive my destination. i take some screenshot and upload at here, and i give more detail info at bellowing link. thanks for solve this question.

what exactly do you mean by "embed"? Which DE are you using? KDE? Gnome? ...? The screenshot are inaccessible for unregistered people, try posting them elsewhere.
Also, try setting own_window_type normal, and experiment with various combinations of own_window_hints (start with none, and try adding some).
