After a while (1-2 days maybe), the displayed CPU temperature doesn't change anymore.
I have no clue what could cause this.
I'm using an eeePC 901 with an Intel Atom CPU.
Also the special eeepc kernel from array.org/ubuntu
@anonymous: when the temperature "freezes" :) could you check if the temperature readings from /sys keep changing? If they don't it's a kernel/sensors thing.

This sounds like a problem with your colonel, not Conky. But either way, I haven't really got any way to test this.
