Hello,
I use "Import File Loader" menu and "\\SALES ORDER\POS ORDER" document-type to import automaticaly sales transactions from an external system (POS system).
It works well with the "normal" sales. (A client buy a product in a certain store)
But certain sales transactions (in a store, a client bring back a broken item for example) are not correctly handled... The quantities <0 are transformed by COMPIERE in quantities >0, so in the warehouse of the store, the storage quantities decrease instead of increase...
In the IMPORT LOADER FORMAT, the field QUANTITY is defined as DATA-TYPE=Number.
In the import-file, i try to import numbers like "-1.00, 1.00-, (1.00)", but COMPIERE still transform them to the value "1.00" !
Is it a normal behaviour ?
How can i automatically import negative quantities ?
Thanks

as I remember, setting data type to string lets you import the neg number.

this is not advised as that would allow invalid data. The appropriate fix will be in SVN in the next couple of days. When the related bug is marked as closed it has been committed to the trunk

Thank's
Setting data type to string allow the use of neg. numbers.
So now, i can handle material return lines in "POS ORDER"
Have a good day !
