The new service option is great as now I can have
colinux started automatically on machine startup.
It would be nicer if somehow the colinux-daemon can
capture the reboot request from within colinux and
restart it.
The reason is that I am running colinux on a XP machine
that is far far away(16 hours time difference). At
times, I need to reboot colinux(though not too often),
such as when I debootstrap a new rootfs and want to
boot into that instead of the existing one. All through
ssh into colinux.
Currently, I use remote desktop to the hosting XP(may
investigate of using XP's remote computer
administration to manipulate the service). But it would
be great if I can just issue 'reboot' within colinux.

You can setup it as service (i.e. using cygrunsrv) and then
restart this service remotely.
