#15 NTLMv2 General Query

Hi ,

I am new to cntlm, I am trying to use it as a proxy for Ntlmv2 Authentication with some Server like Exchange which is running on windows 2008 R2(with NTLMv2 Auth enabled)

I am providing NTLM authentication info. to CNTLM proxy & i require it to authenticate over NTLMv2 with Exchange.

following are Config File changes:"/etc/cntlm.conf"

Username administrator
Domain domain.com

Password password # Use hashes instead (-H)

Workstation netbios_hostname # Should be auto-guessed

PassNTLMv2 652D406CC19FD9350D7A37FD87C77A53
Proxy 10.217.112.42:8080

This is the port number where Cntlm will listen

Listen 127.0.0.1:3128
Auth NTLMv2

1) Am i missing something in configuration file in order to NTLMv2 authentication ?
2)Does CNTLM support NTLM to NTLMv2 translation ?
3)I can see cnltm help
-B Enable NTLM-to-basic authentication is supported
Does CNTLM support basic to NTLMv2 ? If yes could you please suggest required config.

Any Suggestions/Inputs would be highly valuable.
