the issue is that firefox connects fine, and Jdownloader also with java works perfect specifiying them my proxy details, but in synaptic or pidgin i got the 407 authentication error, so for this application is what for i need the help of cntlm but still wont work for me and appears the 407 error when i send the command "cntlm -v -M http://www.google.com¨
Local misconfiguration. Set Cntlm's service port as HTTP(S) proxy in global system setting and in every application that doesn't make use of it.
