I am trying to clone the Windows 7 installation I have on my 320Gb hard drive and then apply that same image twice to a 1TB hard drive.
The reason for this is to separate between office and automation programs.
I have managed to clone the 320 hard drive into the 1TB one.
I then created another partition and managed to image the original partition into that one by changing the file names from sda1 to sda2.
But I can't get the computer to boot from the second partition. I get the Windows is starting logo, but it just stays there.
Any idea if this is possible and, if so, what have I done wrong?
I took an image of the full disk to begin with. Could this be the problem?

"I took an image of the full disk to begin with. Could this be the problem? " -> I believe it's not the issue. Instead the issue is on the boot loader. I think you have to tune your boot loader to deal with that.
