Menu border in Metro style skin
Start menu and Windows enhancement software

Excellent application! I have a skinning question. I've taken the Metro skin and customized colors, sizing to better match my Windows 8 installation. Not using bitmaps but simply the Main_background= option; I've commented out the Main_bitmap entries. However, Classic Shell always paints a thin border (1 pixel) on the outside of the menu (top, bottom, right only it seems; left seems clipped and there's an open ticket from someone else on that).
Is it possible to remove this border? It would be more consistent with the Modern Style (Metro).
Solid background skins always get a border. You can change the opacity to alpha. Add this:
Main_opacity=alpha
Submenu_opacity=alpha
On top of that you have to convert the two background bitmaps to 32-bit and set the alpha channel to all white.
It won't look very nice though. The submenus will all merge together because they are the same color.
