#322 EICAR-Testvirus not recognized

Scanner doesn't recognize the EICAR-Testvirus-String
(e.g. to test whether malware has deactivated
background scanner or manipulated on demand scanner

Save the following string as eicar.com and start it:

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

Virus Scanner should recognize the text after the $;
"Better" Scanner will not only inform about but tell
too, that it is no malware but for scanner check.

Please take a look at clamwin.com home page:
"Please note that ClamWin Free Antivirus does not include
an on-access real-time scanner, that is, you need to
manually scan a file in order to detect a virus. Microsoft
Outlook Addin, however will delete a virus-infected
attachment automatically."
