Welcome

Welcome to the new Chicamin accounting software home on SourceForge. This is a project that I have been working on for a while now, and although it is far from complete and usable at this stage, I thought it was about time that the project found a permanent home on the internet. And it is also a good opportunity to let the world know that there IS someone out there that is prepared to program probably one of the most requested open source applications.

In fact, I am more than prepared. This project has taken quite some effort to get to where it currently is, including many hours of working on design and ease of use issues along with putting the initial framework together. It has become quite a passion over the last few months, and although there is still a lot of work to do, I am looking forward to when I can use a reliable, easy to use business accounting system on my Linux boxes. I hope you are too.
