#2 checkbashisms does not detect doublebrace arithmetic

The checkbashisms tool does not detect the use of doublebraces for arithmetic.

FOO=3
echo $(($FOO - 1))

those are parenthesis, not braces. that is also valid POSIX shell code, so what exactly do you want checkbashisms to detect ?
