#82 SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-252B
Hi.
I'm trying to get CDRDAO to work well with the SAMSUNG
CD-R/RW SW-252B. So far no success. Or rather a very low
success-rate.
I've tried burning different CUE/BIN images to about 10-15 cds,
with only two working attempts, and they were both ill-working.
I've tried using drivers generic-mmc and generic-mmc-raw, none
of them works.
What happens is that the recording-process starts out allright and
works as expected, but sometime during the burn-process, the
red light on the hardware indicating recording stops flashing, the
drive is locked, cdrdao stops counting recorded Mbytes and there
are several processes which cannot be killed.
I have not been able to verify for sure this is not an effect of me
running 2.6, so I wonder if anyone else knows anything about
this?
Are the SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-252B reported to work with
cdrdao? And if not, when can I hope to get it working?
