#34 marking an item as deleted, watched, read

I'd like to have some way of marking an item that I want to remove, that are watched/read. Let's say I have several video files on dvd and I don't need it anymore but at the same time I don't want to throw away the whole dvd. I just want to mark it somehow as unwanted and when all items on dvd became unwanted only then I will throw dvd away.
But still I want to keep information that I had this item, that I used to have it but I didn't want it anymore.
I just don't want to keep separate database of removed/watched/read items.
