Cast-control.net is very much back online.

A few days ago I released the update from 1.4.1.8 using the cast-control updater.
As there is a fairly large update gap between versions, So I've packaged 1.4.1.9 and it is now available for download from Source Forge, as well as the updater. I have applied all updated files from version 1.4.1.4 and added a few extras that you will see in the upcoming version of 1.4.2.

The next build release should be available from mid June to early July and will contain a large amount of updates and features such as the new scanner option, a completely re-written bandwidth function displaying detailed information about individual servers, a major boost in security, 100% language file integrated and loads of smaller updates and modifications.

Castcontrol 1.4 Alpha is now available for download from our downloads section.
The release features alot of new modules including the paypal integrated billing system with automated signup and server creation, Bandwidth management, a completly new step by step installation file, three new
themes and lots lots more.

An update from 1.35 to 1.4 will be available soon.

The release also includes the long awaited and delayed automated updater which can be accessed via the version link under administration.
The updater will connect to our server requesting an instruction file which will then be downloaded and processed by the updater. The update will continue to download the files from our server directly then upload them via ftp onto your webserver. We have released what seems to be the most stable version of cast-control yet. We have not had any reported (castcontrol related) problems, bugs or glitches since the Beta release.

You can download the file from our downloads section.

We have just released castcontrol version 0.135 as an alpha release for those who wish to test the product.

This is an alpha release and has been briefly tested so please report any bugs or problems directly to our forums.

You may wish to wait for a proper release before installing and/or updating although we have had no trouble with it.
I INSIST that you backup ALL your files and database before updating from any 013x release just encase something goes wrong.... read more

CASTcontrol 0.13 is now released and ready for download at sourceforge.net
This version includes bug fixes, changes and all new features such as reselling and Multi-language support.

We have completed testing on a windows 2003 standerd server as well as a linux server.
Although there may be a few bugs and glitches that we missed.
So please report to our forums when sighted :)

Hey, As i have just finished my School Certificate and most exams i will be doing much more work on cast-control and hopefully be able to release this by the 21st of November 2005.
I will not set an exact release date as i dont know what awaits the production of this project but i will be trying to release by the date above.

after sitting down last night at 11pm in 27 degrees i decided to write up the install file.
heat makes you do crazy things :)
the install is complete in a total of 6 steps
i estimate a release by early next week.

Cast Control is a full-featured shoutcast server management system that can be run on any server that has apache installed. It runs on either windows or linux, and can do many more things than most shoutcast administration programs today. It is open source, hosted by SourceForge, so you can modify it to suit your needs.

The reason Cast-Control was developed was to give shoutcast streamers a way to control their servers, instead of using painful remote shell commands and spending hours cursing their machines.... read more
