What is your screen resolution and do you still have the problem if you drop your resolution down to something like 1024x768 ?
I've seen this before including on 10.4, but only on high-resolution displays.

This looks like a query for screen size at the itk/tk level is getting some sort of invalid format for a reply. Questions - are you using a system tcl/tk and/or itcl/itk, and what screen resolution are you running at? Also, did you happen to build brlcad on 10.4 and then upgrade 10.5 around it?

Can't reproduce on any machine available using svn (including one that previously had reproduced it). Changed status to pending.
