Bassmaker: Diverse graphical issues, missing step 1 on start
Brought to you by:

Clicking on another tab from A to the B C or D tab results in graphical
glitches just once. But switching to them again causes no graphical
glitches....
First note of a sequence is not played, the bassmaker goes straight to the
second note, but at the same time when playing through a sequence, it
correctly plays the first note when it reaches the end of the sequence..
Andrew Coughlan.
EDIT: Apologies for posting this in the features request section. :P
Also, clicking from tab to tab results in the first step of that tab being played by the bassmaker, which probably shouldn't happen.
Stepping straight into note #2 is visible here, I can fix that probably quite easily.
What do you mean by graphical glitches when moving between the A/B/C/D tabs? The only thing i get here is that the page will blank out and then get repainted, should be quite brief though, less than 100ms. This I consider normal which probably means you are seeing something else.
http://moose.linux-coders.org/Bristol/Graphical-Bug.jpg shows what happens when I select one of the A/B/C/D tabs for the first time. Switch to another tab and then switching back or changing to another workspace/basically anything that causes the WM to redraw the windows makes it go away.
Andrew.
Ok, that is a lot clearer. The window has been resized and my layer repainting has not been updated or something similar. Will get a fix out (with the Godot release 0.40.6). Should also be able to address the other issue of starting position.
Fixes were submitted to 0.50.0 for all of these issues. Backports to 0.40.7 can be made on request.
Closed pending release.
