Brass Tacks' (the game) have a 5 minutes prologue video before the game actually starts. At some point, VVOSI friends realise that it didn't necessary depends the game to make sense: it's works like a standalone short-movie; three acts well-developed and a twist-ending. At the end, there's a epilogue video, and there's some videos that couldn't work in the game that could work pretty fine in a movie. Adventure Game Maker (software project)

It's another project we're starting: a adventure game maker very easy to use, inspired in the commercial software "Adventure Maker" (www.adventuremaker.com).

Instead of most commercial game makers, we want to use the "make games without a single line of code" catch-phrase, something real...

Basically, it will recognize automaticaly a given folder as the "root game tree", it's subfolders as "Places", and image files, as "Frames". Clicking a folder you'll get a grid-alike screen to visually organize your frames relationships by drag/drog. Also, a inventory and hotspot system, pre-defined functions for make it easier ("making batch processes for everything" is our main idea).... read more

The game is ready to be beta-tested and we already have some people doing it. But the more, the best, so if you want to try it (and relate bugs if/when you want to), you can download it at the link on the end of this message.

NOTE: All the beta-testers will be credited in the game documentations, ingame credits, media-releases, etc, only if they relate bugs or effectively help the project development someway...... read more
