fre:ac does not have official support for DTS files at this time.
However, you can transcode DTS with the fre:ac snapshot release and the attached decoder script. Copy the XML file to the boca subfolder before starting fre:ac.
Multi-channel DTS files will be converted to stereo, however, as fre:ac does not handle multi-channel audio very well yet.
I can find no reference to DTS files in documentation and support. Are there any plans to add DTS to the Add File options?

The next snapshot release will add official support for DTS and AC3 decoding and improve multi-channel support in general.
For example, you will be able to convert 5.1 DTS to WAV, FLAC, TAK, WavPack and WMA.
