Option to follow URLs
Fast Bayesian spam filter along lines suggested by Paul Graham

Graham's article</a> describes this idea much more
thoroughly than I can here. Basically though, I would
be interested in an option that lets bogofilter
retrieve URLs in mail either: always, when unsure of
status, or never. If the URL is retrieved, tokens
found on that site would also be processed by
bogofilter to determine spam status. Links found on
that site would be followed and processed to n levels
of recursion, where n is also user-specified.
As mentioned in Paul's article, presuming enough people
adopt this strategy, a nice side effect of it would be
that spammers' websites would get slammed with traffic
every time spam was sent out.

Greeting Per,
We're not presently planning to implement this feature. If
you're interested enough to implement it, we'll be glad to
consider including your code or making it available as a
patch (depending on people's preference).

Further discussion on the mailing list revealed that this concept is
deemed too dangerous to hit innocent bystanders in case of "Joe job"
spam. We're not going to implement it.
If you have a concept that can ABSOLUTELY prevent attacking innocent
third parties, let us know and open a new tracker or post to the
bogofilter mailing list (see http://bogofilter.sourceforge.net/ for the
address).
