Same rationale as for direct-manipulation of
documents, allow a GUI-based way to point at a view
and close (and potentially do other things to) it
without needing to go through the menu system.
Right-click is a well-established Windows standard for
direct manipulation. If you like, take the suggestion as:
add a right-click menu providing access to common actions
for each file to the tab.

Mike please rephrase this as a practical suggestion that fits and is doable in the current framework.
The closest to `direct` I can come up with at the moment is a Delphi style right click on the tab which brings up a
popup menu with a Close option.

Since the request I added the right-click meny on the
notebook page tab of Additional Views to close the View.
I'm closing the request for now. At least the infrastructure is
there to extend the concept.
