#11 BLT built entirely on Tcl/Tk

When building BLT 2.4z, I noticed that we are linking in
Tcl/Tk libraries as well as the X libraries. Are there any
plans to make a version of BLT that is built entirely on
top of Tcl/Tk?

The reason I ask is because X performs very poorly on
Mac OS X machines. However, the Tcl/Tk group has
come out with a Tcl/Tk version that runs natively on
Aqua. BLT doesn't seem to work well when both Aqua
and X try to share the graphics pipeline. However, a
version of BLT built entirely on Tcl/Tk would not have
that problem.

If this is not an option, would anyone consider hosting
the X-specific portions of BLT to Aqua? This is far
beyond my capability, but it would make BLT a very
useful tool for us in our hybrid O/S environment.
