two issues:
the disk monitor apparently wants to look at /var/log/messages. To do that, I have to change permissions to 644. Why does the disk monitor need to see that log file?

second issue, why does the info not get reported on one machine, but all the others? I have a purple and the messages are "no file systems monitored, no errors logged"

I know that I have not given you a lot of info, but I'll tell you that these are CentOS 5 machines, all installed almost identically.

Also, that machine that is purple for the disk monitor, is yellow for cpu which says "CPU load average - no data from 'uptime' " and "CPU test failing, no filesystems monitored"

I am sure that I have overlooked something, but your assistance would is appreciated.

Thanks.
