#31 libcups.so.2 error with smb tools

When using any of the smb tools (smbmount, mount -t smbfs, smbclient, etc) I get the following error: "Error while loading shared libraries: libcups.so.2: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory."

Is this a bug that I can fix, or a bug in FIRE?

    You didn't specify, but is this for FIRE 0.4 ?

    If so, the only solid fix is to await the next release or
    modify your ISO.

    You *can* work around this by putting a copy of the
    libcups.so* file(s) onto another disk and then modify the
    ld.so.conf (and then run ldconfig) or append an entry in
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH
