No

If you right click on a directory and choose Compare With > Latest Revision (Beyond Compare), and there are any files in the directory that you have added that are not yet in SVN, the compare fails and you get an error message stating "An error occurred while trying to compare revisions Exception: null".

Note that this is different from 1840496. I have the latest version that I just downloaded today, and it works fine with files that are already in SVN. It only crashes when you have added a new file to your workspace that you have not checked in yet.

    I can't reproduce your problem.
Can you open up the Error Log view in Eclipse and try to find that error for me? Hopefully it is there and has a stack trace that would be very useful for me to try and solve this problem.
    Thanks.

Also - are you using the Subclipse or the Subversive SVN plug-in?

Ahh, got it. Maybe I should have done more testing before I started posting all these messages.

So the error is happening with the Subversive plug-in. I'll fix it now :)

Okay, I've uploaded a new build (0.8.6.1) which fixes the problem.
Thanks again for posting the bug.

Just to avoid confusion I've released a new build (0.8.7) of all three projects (CVS, SVN Subclipse, and SVN Subversive). I removed the 0.8.6.1 build, but the fix is in the 0.8.7 release.
