I've had this occur a few times, does not seem to be
related to other zooming bug that I can tell.
Occasionally when zooming out with the mousewheel it
will get stuck "zooming out" even when reversing the
direction of the mousewheel (i.e. trying to zoom in
makes it zoom out further). It usually happens to me
somewhere between 1 minute and 10 of using the program.

Fixed. the zooming now restricts itself to sensible values, and
it shouldn't happen anymore.

Re-opening this bug because it's still happening a lot in my
cvs version of Aztec2 (HEAD).

Was this bug the same as bug nr. 825798 ?

Yes, that's the same bug.
Here are some steps to reproduce the bug as it is in cvs:
- start Aztec
- zoom in/out in any 3D view using the mousewheel, you'll
notice everything is fine
- now click one of the qwerty buttons (rotate, for example)
and do it again, the wheel will only allow the user to zoom
out, even when turning it the other way around
So it only works the first time, after pressing one of the
buttons to change the manipulator it's impossible to zoom in
using the mouse wheel (zooming out instead, like noted in
the original bug description).
