Since Avidemux still does not have a batch-conversion function, it is quite cumbersome to convert several videos. What makes it even worse is that you cannot even just set all of the options to the desired output format, save the video, close it when it finishes, open a new one, save the new video, and repeat. The problem is that when you open a new video, several settings are lost or forgotten. For example, the audio format will still display the previous setting, but will revert to COPY, so if you don’t manually change it to something else and then back again, it will not be converted (the video format works correctly however). Likewise, filters are wiped out, so if you had one to resize the video, it will not be applied to the new video.

Currently, converting more than one video with Avidemux is extremely annoying and cumbersome without a batch feature, and this bug makes it even more so.

There is a sort of batch feature, 2 different ways to do it :
1- You can save each job to the job queue and then use the ADM_job executable to run them in sequence
2- If it is the same kind of processing, you can use the embedded tinypy interpreter to process all of them in a loop
