Hi, I have installed Astro 2.5 on my Palm Tungsten T
and have some comments:
1. I does not let me select a catalog (I have 3
available on the Palm)
2. May be related to 1., but found that the screen
freezes when I go to the Sky Map. I have to 'reset' to
use the Palm again.
3. Although it does show the Solar System, I cannot
open any objects (again the system freezes).

It's probably the change-to-gray-scale code that isn't working. I currently
don't have the time to investigate further, though.

Astro Info 2.5, Palm Tungsten/T:
It freezes when you click on the icons in the title bar;
usually you can step thru the planets using the L & R
arrows, but it mostly locks up the /T when you try to exit.
I'm looking forward to the Hi-Res version & a fix for this -
Astro is the last of my "favourite apps" to NOT run properly
on the /T !
Regards,
Ian.

Similar problem on Zire 21. May be related to comment
regarding catalog instabilities. Great program nontheless. An
hints on a fix or schedule for revision/upgrade?

Sorry for the large delay. I finally think I have fixed the bug, at
least it doesn't crash any more under the Palm OS Simulator.
I put a test release at
http://csd.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de/~hoenicke/astroinfo
If it works please tell me so I can add an official release.

I have used all functions that I can think of and could access
all screens. Moved between screens, moved in/out of the
application and switched on and off. Where 'options' allow
changes, I applied these and they worked too (were
implemented). I am not sure it is OS5 or your new version,
but it is even more fantastic now than when I last used on
my PalmIII.
Thanks again for such a brilliant application.
A couple of things you may wish to add to your log.
On Toggle Night Mode, the screen remains the same and the
Az/Alt texts invert colours. I seem to remember that it all
wen black/red.
On Sky Map the drop down Menu provides a Tips screen
suggesting we click on the O button for options when it is a
hammer and screwdriver icon.
