I use the daily nighshot of 2008/08/13 of aross hosted on i386 linux on my eeePC 701. I unpack, enter the aros directory and just type ./aros on a shell to launch aros.
The GUI shows up, the system shell indow apears and reads that the Theme: volume cannot be located, a dialog appear to the same problem (please insert volume Theme in any drive. retry/cancel). I can only click on cancel of course. Then a multiview window appears with the hex translation of ExecuteStartup.
I close it. I now click on the System icon, and the volume appears to be without any icon. The startup needs to be done up to its natural end, for the *.info files are well and at thei places. even hen I ask to see all files there.
no file in the system window even if all files required

This bug may indicate a lack of free disk space on my SSD drive. If I do it on the same eeepc with the same xandros but on an external USB drive with plenty of free space, the boot process is OK.
