I suggest a feature for aligning one or more objects
to another:
aligment of boudaray x of object(s) A to boundary y of
object B.

For instance: align the bottom of object A to the top
of object B. This stacks A on B.

Object B should remain in place whereas object(s) A
move.

is this not a child perant relationship.

Its not the same as a parent-child relation. In a parent
child relation, you must still know the coordinates of the
boudaries yourself or move the objects in place visually. If
this could be determined automatically, by some alignment
tool or an object-snap feature, it would be simpler and more
    precise.

Is this similar to my idea?

    Idea:

    'Object-Matching; Location & Orientation':

To be able to automatically move an object Exactly to a place
in the scene where another object is (say, by having a
function whereby a source and a target object (or maybe
multiple objects) are selected and then designated as either
source or target), with choices of whether you want to
match the target object'(s) location only, orientation only, or
    both location and orientation.
