Hi all and thanks Thorsten for your work. I have Crossfire enabled and I cant control the clocks of the second gpu. I am running Debian Wheezy and have an 4870x2 GPU (Sapphire).Driver version is the one from Wheezy-backports.(13.1-legacy I guess) While for the first gpu everything works as it should for the second I cant commit the clocks though it loads the .ovdr file. Here is the output of some commands.
rasty@debianfx:~$ fglrxinfo
display: :0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
OpenGL version string: 3.3.11672 Compatibility Profile Context
Should the above contain 2 sections or not?

CrossFire chain for adapter 0, status: enabled
0. 03:00.0 ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
1. 04:00.0 ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
aticonfig --odgc --adapter=all
Adapter 0 - ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
Core (MHz) Memory (MHz)
Current Clocks : 600 650
Current Peak : 600 650
Configurable Peak Range : [507-800][500-1000]
GPU load : 3%
Adapter 1 - ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
Core (MHz) Memory (MHz)
Current Clocks : 750 900
Current Peak : 750 900
Configurable Peak Range : [507-800][500-1000]
GPU load : 0%
As you can see I cant set the second gpu clock/mem and it always stays at max performance...Also i cant use the pplib-cmd 'get activity' for the second gpu. For the first it reads.
Current Activity is Core Clock: 600MHZ
Memory Clock: 650MHZ
VDDC: 1100
Activity: 2 percent
Performance Level: 0
Bus Speed: 5000
Bus Lanes: 16
Maximum Bus Lanes: 16
But if I try DISPLAY=:0.1 or DISPLAY=:1 nothing shows up :/ . What am I doing wrong?
Could someone post pls a working xorg.conf file with a similar setup? That is dual-gpu with 1 physical monitor attached. Is this drivers problem or what? And if so any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any reply.
