My via audio controller has very muddy bass and it affects everything. (ex. amarok with the equalizer enabled and low-end turned down is STILL way too much bass) I'd like to simply add a high pass filter to .asoundrc but its really unclear how I do this. So far, I've got the ladspa libraries and there appears to be a high-pass filter in that directory.

I've looked at the documentation and reviewed the low-pass multi-speaker .asoundrc. http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php/Talk:Low-pass_filter_for_subwoofer_channel_\(HOWTO) But I've only got two speakers and I just don't have enough information to do it on my own.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.
