I downloaded acmemail v2.2.2 and after hours of
downloading modules and installing imap and all the
other required file i went to http://mydomain/cgi-bin/acme/acmemail.cgi
it showed the login prompt and I logged in. From there
it took me to a Internal Server Error page. I would
try to fix this problem myself but I don't know what to
do since the first part of acmemail.cgi worked but
after the login prompt it screws up with the internal
server error message. please help me.

Check the web server error logs ... they might give you some clue as to what's not working.
Also try running a perl -c on the acmemail.cgi script.
