SoftPear Preview Release has been released. You can run the Mac OS X versions of gzip, zip, unzip and some more small command line tools under Linux and FreeBSD (on i386 and compatible computers) and for testing purposes under Mac OS X itself.

This is achieved by a Mach-O file format loader, the PearPC generic CPU core (http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/) and a wrapper around calls to libc functions.... read more
