We are proud - at eXcentia http://www.excentia.es - to announce the first public version of eXternalDB OTRS package published at SourceForge.

eXternalDB is an OTRS (http://otrs.org) plugin that allows OTRS agents to connect and query external data sources. It's goal is to help agents to carry out their ticketing management tasks providing an interface for database information retrieval.

During this week we will be working on the contents of the SourceForge project portal. Hopefully everything will be set up soon to complete the project 'opensourcing'.
