Laffer 0.3.3 released
Laffer is a platform that can help you to communicate with ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and other messenger networks directly from your web browser(Laffer Web Client), from console client, or with form your phone with the help of j2me client.
Laffer is capable of exchanging text messages, contact list visualization and manipuliation, presence status visualization, and getting information about the user.
Some of the changes in this version are:
* Thanks to Balazs Barany the Web client interface has a German translation.
* The nasty 'disconnect often without a reason' bug is squashed. We still need French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese translations. * There are minor code clean-ups.
Everyone using 0.3.2.9 is advised to upgrade.

Laffer 0.3.2.7 released
Laffer is web-based multi instant messenger client. It supports ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and other messenger networks. Laffer is written in HTML and JavaScript, and it uses DOM 1.2 and PHP. Laffer is capable of exchanging text messages, contact list visualization and manipuliation, presence status visualization, and getting information about the user.
Changes are: The initial protocol for the communication between the IM proxy server and the client was changed. There is new "docs" directory where the documentation will be stored.

Laffer 0.3.2.4 released
Laffer is new Web-based instant messenger client. It supports ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and other messenger networks. Laffer is written in HTML and JavaScript, and it uses DOM 1.2 and PHP. Laffer is capable of exchanging text messages, contact list visualization, presence status visualization, and getting information about the user.
In this version the OSCAR protocol implementaion is improved and ICQ contact list manipulation - add/edit/delete group or user is possible. We also switched from TOC to OSCAR protocol for AIM networks. There is new Russian translatio to the web interface thanks to Boris Korobkov

Laffer is new Web-based instant messenger client. It supports ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and other messenger networks. Laffer is written in HTML and JavaScript, and it uses DOM 1.2 and PHP. Laffer is capable of exchanging text messages, contact list visualization, presence status visualization, and getting information about the user.
This version is codenamed "Right Click" and all most of the new functions use the right click of your mouse when over the contact list.
During the previous final version and this one Laffer was awarded as "IT Innovation Of The Year"(2004) as a Bulgarian software product.

Laffer is new Web-based instant messenger client. It supports ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and other messenger networks. Laffer is written in HTML and JavaScript, and it uses DOM 1.2 and PHP. Laffer is capable of exchanging text messages, contact list visualization, presence status visualization, and getting information about the user.
There is new proof-of-concept protocol, called Google (Fake) Instant Messenger, that can turn Gmail into instant messenger(IM) network, like ICQ, and can help you to exchange messages and presence statuses with other gmail friends using Laffer and logged to Gmail.
